I had a wonderful time preaching the Day of Recollection for the 26 seminarians of the archdiocese of Milwaukee at the beginning of October. Not only are these future priests fine men but many of them have already established a good habit of daily prayer. The diocese of Milwaukee has a lot of good priests to look forward to!

I’ll be spending the feast of St. Francis at Cross in the Woods Shrine in Indian River, MI. It’s the largest crucifix in the world. I’ll be there preaching my second parish mission.

After returning to San Rafael’s Church for a one-day workshop on the True and False Self, I’ll be heading up to Toronto to lead a weekend workshop for some really fine people of the Salvation Army. I’m looking foward to learning more about what these wonderful Christians do.

I’ll be returning to Cape Cod to film a third DVD for Paraclete Press. The new DVD will focus upon the six great Catholic spiritual traditions: the Benedictines, Cistercians, Carmelites, Dominicans, Franciscans, and Jesuits. And after that, it’s on to St. Michael’s Church in Schereville IN where I will be preaching a parish mission. I was there many, many years ago and so look forward to seeing some old friends again.
